Ta Kieu Hung has been appointed acting CEO of National Citizen Bank (NCB) four months after joining the private lender.
Hung, 43, holds a master’s degree in business administration from the French-Vietnamese School of Management (CFVG), became a deputy CEO at NCB late last year, according to a bank announcement Friday.
Before joining NCB, Hung had held various senior positions at Techcombank for nearly 20 years.
On April 21, NCB also relieved Nguyen Dinh Tuan and Do Thi Duc Minh from their posts as deputy CEOs. They had joined the bank four months ago as well.
NCB’s consolidated after-tax profit was VND8 billion ($339,000) in 2022, down from nearly VND1.4 trillion in 2021.
NCB has targeted a profit of VND16 billion this year. Its capital mobilization is expected to stand at VND78 trillion, and loans to customers at VND57.7 trillion.
