My boyfriend left me on the street on Christmas Eve

We started dating a year ago and we went out with a group of his friends this Christmas Eve. This group included several women who were older than me, stylish, and chic. My boyfriend seemed overly cheerful as he sat close to one of them and even borrowed her ring to wear on his pinky finger.

When I asked why he was doing that despite my presence, he said it was merely a joke that meant nothing. This upset me and I decided to leave.

My boyfriend initially offered to drive me home with his car, but as we still argued on the way, he got mad at me. He said I was not his wife yet, so I could not control him.

He then dropped me off in the middle of the road, leaving me to walk five kilometers in the cold before I found a taxi.

Normally I am the one that offers to make up first whenever we argue, otherwise it takes him two to three days to contact me.

But this time I am not sure if I should keep dating him, as I am confused whether a man like him is worth my trust and consideration for a long-term relationship.

What should I do?
