Miss International sparkles in Vietnamese designer dresses

German beauty queen Jasmin Selberg attended many activities from May 22-25 during her trip to Vietnam, including taking part in a press conference promoting the 2023 Miss International contest, answering questions from contestants competing in the 2023 Miss International Vietnam contest, and participating in volunteer programs held by the Miss International contest organizers. On May 24, she wore a dress by Vietnamese designer Le Ngoc Lam after seeing his designs on Instagram. The white lace dress, with blazer-inspired neck, was part of Lam’s collection “Flowers In the Desert,” released last month.

Selberg and Nhi shared their experience attending beauty pageants to Miss World Vietnam 2023 contestants on May 24. The German beauty queen was seen in a strapless dress made by designer Ha Thanh Viet. The dress had a bow on it as its highlight.

On May 23, Selberg donned a pink Le Thanh Hoa dress, inspired by the shape of butterflies, and gave a sash to Nhi, the Vietnamese representative at Miss International 2023.
“It took me over 300 hours to finish this design. It was made from tulle, with color-changing crystals attached,” Hoa said.

On May 23, she wore a matching dress with Nhi, made from voile with flowers on it, when Nhi welcomed her to Vietnam. The dress was made by designer Tung Vu.

Selberg wore a silk dress included in Ha Thanh Viet’s collection “Minty Dress,” released earlier this month.

The German beauty was also seen in a cotton lace dress. The three-day trip was the first time she had visited Vietnam, and she was left impressed by how friendly the Vietnamese people were.
Selberg, 24, made the top 15 at the 2021 Miss Universe Germany before being crowned Miss International 2022. Miss International is one of the ‘Big Four’ international beauty pageants, along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth. This year’s contest is set to be held in October in Japan.
