Mercedes is recalling 210 GLE cars imported from Germany to fix a potential air-conditioning leak that could lead to a short circuit.
The GLE 450 4Matic SUVs were manufactured between July 2019 and November 2020.
The air-conditioning system’s condensation drain hose has not been fitted correctly, which means condensation can build up and leak into the cabin, leaving users unable to unlock the doors or start the car.
The global recall will last until the end of 2027. Owners can take their vehicle to any Mercedes dealer for a free 30-minute repair.
Two GLE models are sold in Vietnam and cost VND4.62 billion and VND4.92 billion ($196,800-209,500).
