Malaysian actress Nora Danish reveals she initiated divorce from businessman ex-husband

The actress made this statement after sightings of her ex-husband with other women were reported, according to The Star.

“He’s free to be seen with other women since I initiated the divorce,” she stated on her Instagram. “Let him lead his own life. I’d prefer not to hear about it, okay? We are now on separate paths.”

Nora Danish also stressed the importance of establishing personal boundaries, noting that although she and Nedim no longer cohabit, they continue a friendly relationship for their child’s sake.

“We no longer live together and will not be living together as we are divorced,” she elaborated. “Our interactions are solely for our child’s well-being, nothing beyond that. Please take note.”

Born Nora Mohd Danish Hanif, the 42-year-old actress married Nedim in 2017, marking the second marriage for both. They welcomed a son in 2018 and have children from their previous marriages.

Their marriage officially ended with their divorce being finalized on June 16.

Nedim’s father, Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, is a prominent Malaysian politician and diplomat who has occupied several significant roles such as Deputy Minister of Finance and Minister of Tourism and Culture. He has been serving as the Malaysian Ambassador to the U.S. since February 2023.
