Lao Airlines resumes direct flight from Vientiane to Da Nang

There will be two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays.

Noudeng Chanthaphasouk, commercial director of Lao Airlines, said in a statement that the resumption of the direct route, favored by a large number of tourists before the Covid-19 outbreak, will meet increasing demand of visitors in the region after the removal of travel restrictions.

Last year, Laos was one of 10 main sources of tourism for Da Nang, with nearly 10,000 arrivals, and accounting for 2% of its total foreign visitors.

Lao Airlines earlier resumed direct flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City right after both countries reopened tourism.
