According to St Headline, both Jane and Jada were introduced to Buddhism at a young age, influenced by their parents, Jet Li and former Hong Kong actress Nina Li Chi.

Last November, while promoting his biography “Beyond Life and Death: Jet Li Looking for Jet Li” in Taiwan, Jet Li disclosed that his daughter Jada had battled depression since age 7. He joined Jada in a three-month Tibetan Buddhism study, which helped her recovery, according to The Straits Times.

Jet Li has been practicing Buddhism for 25 years, which he says has helped him overcome past struggles with jealousy and competitiveness, leading him to inner peace. Since completing “Mulan” in 2018, Jet Li has stepped back from acting and public appearances.

According to QQ, he now spends his time traveling to Buddhist sites, meditating in the mountains, and avoiding phones and social media, which has brought him peace and happiness.
