Noboru Kaneko, who plays Gao Red in the 2001 Japanese superhero series ‘Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger’, is set to have a fan meeting in Vietnam this month.
The 48-year-old landed at Tan Son Nhat Airport in HCMC Wednesday for his second visit to Vietnam.
On July 29 and 30 he will take part in a fan meeting where he will pose for photos and sign autographs.
In addition, he will attend Manga Comic Con Vietnam event and talk about his 24-year journey as an actor and his most well-known role, Gao Red, which launched him to stardom in 2001.

Kaneko is also known for playing Yoshito Chujo in the 2003 monster film Godzilla.
In October last year Kaneko and Takeru Shibaki, who played Gao Blue in Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, visited Hanoi for the attractions and local dishes.
Masahiro Inoue, who played the titular character in another long-running superhero series “Kamen Rider Decade”, will also be at Manga Comic Con Vietnam and meet fans there.
