Irate passenger halts plane seconds before takeoff

A video, captured by a fellow passenger aboard the Thai Smile flight on July 19, showed the foreign passenger complaining to the flight crew that he had left his bag containing money and other valuables at a departure lounge in the terminal, The Thaiger reported.

He then became furious and demanded the plane return to the gate so that he could retrieve his bag.

Though the flight crew tried to calm the passenger down, he remained agitated.

With the plane already waiting on the runway seconds from takeoff, the captain finally announced that the flight was turning back.

Upon returning to the terminal, airport security escorted the angry man off the plane. It is unknown whether he was arrested or detained following the incident.

The flight was delayed for 45 minutes and then landed safely at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok.
