Hong Kong actor, 73, denies 36-year-old girlfriend was bar hostess

Lee refuted the rumors in his interview with the media earlier this week, after accusations spread on social media as the May-September relationship between Lee and Wong gained public attention, reported Sinchew.

According to Lee, he and Wong had stopped caring about what others say about them, including rumors about Wong taking advantage of his wealth, or Wong having worked as a bar hostess before dating him.

He said he was “not a fool” and knew what he was doing.

Lee said during a previous interview that the big age gap had never been a challenge for him and his girlfriend, as they love each other. He has also legally registered Wong as the owner of his properties.

The couple are currently planning their wedding, which is to be held later this year.

Lee is a renowned actor. Works throughout his career include “The Condor Heroes,” “Journey to the West,” and “Forensic Heroes.”

He got married to his first wife in the 1970s and had three children with her, all of whom are older than Wong.
