A Ferrari crashed into a motorbike in Hanoi’s Nam Tu Liem District early Monday morning, killing the motorbike driver.

Hoang Bang Viet, 25, was driving the Ferrari that carries a diplomatic license plate on Le Quang Dao Street at 3:45 a.m. when he hit the Wave Honda motorbike.

The collision killed the motorbike driver on the spot, broke the motorbike in half, and damaged the car’s front part.

Police said Viet had left the scene, thus they have not been able to conduct tests to determine if he was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

A Ferrari can travel at up to 340 kph.
