The central province of Ha Tinh has cancelled the prequalification result of a VND24-trillion ($1.02 billion) urban project after both bidders decided to withdraw.
The bidders for the 140-hectare Ham Nghi Urban Area were Vinhomes and Viet An Commercial Development and Trading Investment.
Ha Tinh will now continue to look for developers for the project.
The Ham Nghi Urban Area is planned as a hub with residential buildings, malls and amusement facilities.
