Estella Palace hosts Korea Festival 2022


TP HCMThe third season of Korea Festival was held from November 18 to 27 at Estella Place shopping mall.

The Korea Festival, themed “The Soul Station”, featured Korean products for beauty, cuisine, and lifestyle, honoring 30 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and South Korea.

Shoppers to Estella Place, at 88 Song Hanh Street, An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, could explore and purchase more than 700 products from 207 Korean companies on display at 40 booths.

In addition to well-known Korean consumer goods manufacturers like Lock&Lock, the event had representatives from provinces, including Gangwon-do, Busan, and the Fisheries Association, to introduce their local specialties.

Nguyen Duc Minh, Senior Director of Keppel Land in Vietnam, expressed excitement when the company had the opportunity to host the annual Korea Festival in order to introduce Korean culture to Vietnamese customers.

“Through this event, we hope to celebrate the unique culture of Korea as well as introduce Korea’s famous and high-quality brands to the Vietnamese market,” said Minh.

Shoppers could explore the Korea Sale Festa which offered promotions, as well as food stands serving genuine Korean street food.

Workshops on the weekends allowed participants to learn how to make traditional Korean toys like “sogo drums” and paper gyros as well as experience cultural Korean folk games and enjoy special art performances.

A complimentary 360-degree custom photoshoot in traditional Hanbok attire was another perk available to shoppers at Estella Place during the festival.

In addition, the festival had a booth from the popular musical collective SMTown, featuring K-pop-related merchandise of artists under SM Entertainment such as EXO, Red Velvet, and NCT127 to cater to the growing reach of Korea’s entertainment industry.

K-pop performance covers and flash mob dances with Pororo, a popular children’s cartoon in Korea, were also available on weekend special performance stages.
