The Covent Garden Soloists Orchestra from London’s world renowned Royal Opera House will perform in Ho Chi Minh City for the 25th edition of Toyota Classics concert series.
The concert will be held in the Municipal Theater of Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon Opera House) at 8 p.m. on November 18.
The event will also feature talented Spanish conductor Miguel Angel Navarro, Bulgarian violin player Vasko Vassilev, Singaporean concert pianist Pamela Tan Nicholson and Vietnamese flautist Nguyen Ly Huong.
Before coming to Vietnam, Toyota Classics concerts will take place in Cambodia, the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, and Thailand. One concert took place on Thursday evening in Singapore.
Proceeds from the concerts will go towards local charities.
Since 1990, Toyota has promoted classical music to support charities across Asia, hosting 175 concerts through the years.
