Grammy-winning singer Christina Aguilera has arrived in Hanoi ahead of her show at the Hanoi Opera House on Tuesday.
The American pop star Instagrammed a photo of herself at a hotel in the Vietnamese capital with the caption: “Birthday energy.”
Aside from happy birthday wishes, many people wrote in the comments section that they hoped Aguilera would have a wonderful stay in Vietnam.
“Hope you’re having a blast in Vietnam,” wrote Anthony H. Nguyen, a Vietnamese-American makeup artist.
Aguilera will be performing at the VinFuture Global Science and Technology Awards along with Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji. Conductor Dong Quang Vinh and violinist Bui Cong Duy will also perform.
Earlier this year, American music legend John Legend performed at the event hosted by local conglomerate Vingroup.
