Chinese actress Qin Lan, 44, and 10-year-younger boyfriend Wei Daxun secretly broke up after more than a year together, according to Chinese web portal Sina.
According to a close source, since May 2023, the actress and the actor have not appeared together.
On Jan, 30, a well-known Chinese blogger confirmed the love story between Qin and Wei had broken down. The blogger said the duo had schedules in Beijing but they did not meet each other.

According to some different sources, the reason the couple has broken up is that Qin does not want to get married, and Wei’s wealthy family does not support his son’s relationship with the actress.
Qin is an independent, modern woman who wants to build a career, while Wei’s parents want a daughter-in-law who knows how to sacrifice for her career and focus on taking care of her family.
However, some other sources said at the end of 2023 and beginning of 2024, the star couple had very tight working schedules, so they could not spend time together.
Qin Lan, who is also a model, and singer, is known for her roles as Empress Fuca in the 2018 hit historical drama Story of Yanxi Palace, Zhihua in My Fair Princess III and Mo Xiangwan in the workplace drama We Are All Alone.
Qin won a Golden Award in the Advertisement Model category of the 1999 National Nominate Newcomer Competition.
In 2013 Qin was shortlisted for Best Supporting Actress in the 7th Asian Film Awards for the role of Empress Lu Zhi in The Last Supper. Two years later, she began to start working as a producer.
Qin graduated from the Shenyang University of Technology, and was in a relationship with Chinese actor and singer Huang Xiaoming from 2003 to 2006, according to Chinese web portal Sohu.
Wei Daxun, born on April 12, 1989, is a Chinese actor, singer, and host. He ranked 85th on Forbes China Celebrity 100 list in 2019, and 56th in 2020, according to Forbes China.
Wei graduated from an undergraduate class of acting at the Central Academy of Drama. In 2008 he starred in the youth interactive idol drama Sophie’s Diary. This was his first film and television drama work, thus officially entering the entertainment industry.
In 2014, JYP Entertainment signed with Wei, making him the first Chinese actor signed with a South Korean company, according to Sina.
