British boyband New Hope Club to hold music showcase in HCMC


New Hope Club, a popular Gen Z boyband, will hold a free showcase in Ho Chi Minh City on August 23 to promote their upcoming album.

According to Universal Music Vietnam, this will be the first time a U.K. music act holds an album promotion in Vietnam.

At the event, the group will interact with fans and perform two singles “Girl Who Does Both” and “Getting Better” from their upcoming album.

The group will release more songs from their next album during their Asia promo tour until September to hype up fans for the official drop next year.

Formed in 2015, New Hope Club is a pop trio from the U.K. consisting of Reece Bibby (1998), Blake Richardson (1999) and George Smith (1999) who can all play guitar and sing.

They currently have over 1.86 million monthly listeners on the music streaming platform Spotify.

Their most well-known song “Know Me Too Well” has pocketed over 54 million YouTube views since its premiere in October 2019.
