Two British tourists, a man and a woman, were killed in Hoi An in central Vietnam Monday after driving their motorbike over the sidewalk and hitting an electric pole.
Denver Christopher Marcus, 25, and Thompson Pethmay, 24, were caught in the accident at a bending part of the road. It was 4 a.m. and there were few people on the street.
The two died on the spot, while their motorbike was slightly damaged.
Police said the two went to Hoi An as tourists and were staying at a local hotel. They are investigating further.
