Bali’s tourism authorities are on the lookout for a British TikTok influencer named Corrin, who has posted two videos critical of the condition of the beach and traffic in Kuta, the island’s resort area.

The search is being conducted by the Bali Tourism Task Force, an agency established last year to address inappropriate and culturally insensitive behavior on the island, as reported by the Bali Sun.
A senior official from the task force stated that they are coordinating with the immigration agency regarding the incident.
Local officials also reportedly visited Kuta to assess the problem in response to Corrin’s videos.
As per the South China Morning Post, travel content creator Corrin pointed out in a video published on TikTok on Jan. 10 that errant drivers in Kuta do not allow people to cross the road even at pedestrian crossings. She described the area’s traffic as “unbearable” and unlike anything she had seen in her life.
According to the Daily Mail, Corrin then expressed her disappointment with the condition of the Kuta beach in another video, uploaded the following day, commenting on the “rubbish all along the waterfront” as “absolutely awful.”
Her two videos have since attracted nearly 1 million views, and reports suggest that the TikToker has since returned to Thailand, where she reportedly has more positive experiences.
