Nguyen Tran Khanh Van, crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2019, attended a fashion show on Monday alongside her fiancé, photographer Nguyen Long, who is 17 years her senior.

The pair was spotted at Vietnamese fashion designer Chung Thanh Phong’s “I Dreamed A Dream” show at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort. It marked the first time Van publicly appeared with her fiancé since announcing that she had accepted his proposal in June.
Speaking to VnExpress, Van said she and Long have been in a relationship for an extended period and have chosen to keep their personal life private. They are planning a December wedding.
Van, 29, represented Vietnam at the 2021 Miss Universe pageant and finished in the top 21. She is active as a model, actress, and philanthropist.
Long, 46, who was previously married and has an 11-year-old son, is also Van’s manager.
