Founded in late 2018, VinCSS has quickly made a name for itself in the cybersecurity arena, specializing in IT/IoT/OT systems and smart vehicles. The company boasts a team of internationally accredited experts and has been a trailblazer in offering comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to smart car manufacturers.
These solutions adhere to rigorous international standards such as ISO:21434, ISO:24089, UNR155, UNR156. Demonstrating its expertise, VinCSS recently aided an electric vehicle maker in achieving UN R155/156 certification for four of its models in record time, under 18 months.
The partnership between VinCSS and Autocrypt was established at CES 2024, which is the world’s largest technology event held annually in Las Vegas.
The two companies are committed to achieving new standards for protecting smart vehicles from complex cybersecurity threats. By leveraging their respective strengths, they have outlined a comprehensive cooperation plan that will bring innovative solutions to the automotive sector, solving pressing cybersecurity challenges.

The partnership with Autocrypt symbolizes VinCSS’s ambition to establish a strong foothold in the international market. The goal is to create robust, cutting-edge security measures that can be implemented globally and adhere to both regulatory demands and market standards.
This endeavor is noteworthy given that the UN R155 and R156 regulations, required for all vehicle makers planning to market their models in specified regions from July 2022, will become obligatory for both new and existing vehicle types by July 2024, in addition to numerous other intricate market standards and requirements.
Daniel ES Kim, CEO and co-founder of Autocrypt, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, foreseeing it as a starting point for significant advancements in automotive technology. He is confident that the synergy between the two companies will position them as pioneers in the field.
“At VinCSS, we’ve always believed that the best way to predict the future is to create it. This strategic partnership with Autocrypt is a powerful combination. Our shared vision and complementary capabilities enable us to drive innovation in automotive cybersecurity. We are dedicated to delivering excellence and creating a safer world for every road user,” said Simon Trac Do, CEO of VinCSS.
This partnership is not VinCSS’s first international collaboration. The company had previously teamed up with Taiwan’s VicOne to enhance technology for assessing security vulnerabilities in smart cars, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to advancing automotive cybersecurity.
