‘Link to Grow’ enhances cooperation between Hà Nội and Northern provinces

HÀ NỘI  Cooperation on investment, trade and tourism between Hà Nội and other provinces in the Northern Key Economic Region will be enhanced thanks to a series of promotion programmes taking place this week.

Themed “Link to Grow”, the events are part of a programme co-organised by the authorities and relevant agencies of Hà Nội and other provinces nationwide.

Aiming to introduce the capital city’s potential in investment, trade and tourism, the events are expected to boost cooperation in various fields among provinces and cities throughout the country.

The programme will support businesses in Hà Nội and other provinces to promote their speciality products, expand distribution and connect with suitable business partners.

Alongside the promotion activities, the programme is also an opportunity for domestic and international visitors to learn more about the capital city.

From December 21-24, the event is held in Bắc Giang Province (about 60km from Hà Nội), at the Trần Nhân Tông walking street in the Southern residential area in Tân Tiến Commune, Bắc Giang City.

Strolling through nearly 100 booths be set up in an area of 2,500sq.m, visitors will have the chance to learn about the investment potential and economic achievements of Hà Nội, Bắc Giang and other localities in the region.

A significant area is dedicated to OCOP (One Commune One [Priority] Product), showcasing food specialties, handicrafts and agricultural products.

During the event, farmers and producers in general will also have opportunity to meet in-person with wholesalers, retailers, representatives of shopping centres, supermarkets, food store chains, restaurants, hotels and e-commerce platforms to introduce and promote their own products.

Potential on tourism, including new sightseeing spots, new tourist products together with specific cultural features of every locality will be presented at the “Link to Grow” event. Vivid images are on display, offering visitors a clear vision about the destinations.

From December 27-30, similar events will take place in Hà Nam Province’s Phủ Lý City (about 65km south of Hà Nội), and Vĩnh Phúc Province’s Vĩnh Yên City (about 46km north of Hà Nội). Both Hà Nam and Vĩnh Phúc are included in the Northern Key Economic Region.

Earlier, in July, “Link to Grow” connecting Hà Nội and Central provinces was held in Đồng Hới City, Quảng Bình Province, following by one linking other Red River Delta provinces in Hạ Long City, Quảng Ninh Province in August. 

Last month, the event connecting Northwestern mountainous provinces took place in Lào Cai Province.  VNS
