The board of directors of National Citizen Bank (NCB) has appointed Ta Kieu Hung as the new CEO, starting Tuesday.
Hung, 43, has an MBA from CFVG, a French-Vietnamese cooperation school under the National Economics University.
The new appointee has more than 20 years in the banking-financial sector and has held key positions in Techcombank.
He began his career at NCB in December 2022 as a deputy CEO. He has been temporarily holding the CEO chair since April.
In the first quarter, NCB recorded its highest deposit value in six quarters and welcomed over 748,000 new customers.
