Social media users were outraged after seeing a couple eating from a rice cooker they brought onto a China Railway high-speed train despite a ban on high-powered electrical appliances.
They used the electrical outlet, normally used to charge mobile phones and laptops, as the power source for their rice cooker, reported the South China Morning Post Thursday.

Many Chinese social media users have consequently been raising questions over the couple’s actions. “Will she make a hotpot next time? An unbelievable woman,” commented a netizen on Douyin, a Chinese social media platform on which the video garnered more than 24,000 comments.
“It’s very dangerous. If everyone cooks, what would happen?” said another.
Chinese passengers’ bad behavior on public transport has recently become a hot issue.
Another incident involving an elderly woman threatening a younger passenger as the latter refused to switch seats with her and give her the window airplane seat went viral on social media earlier this week, causing outrage across the country.
