Vietnam to get hotter next week


Hotter weather is forecast throughout Vietnam next week, with Hanoi to experience temperatures of up to 34 degrees Celsius (93.2 Fahrenheit).

The National Center for Hydro – Meteorological Forecasting said from Monday, the temperature in the northern region will rise by 1-2 degrees every day.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the highest temperatre in Hanoi will be 34 degrees and in the northwestern provinces of Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Hoa Binh, Lao Cai and Yen Bai 35 degrees.

The temperature in Hanoi in the past days was around 20-27 degrees Celsius, with fog in the morning and at night.

American site Accuweather said after peaking on Wednesday and Thursday, Hanoi’s temperature will gradually drop, to 19-22 degrees on Sunday.

The central region will also experience hotter days next week, with temperatures forecast to peak at 37 degrees.

The Central Highlands and southern Vietnam have seen sunny days for weeks now, but they should also expect hotter days next week, with the average temperature ranging from 33-36 degrees in the south and 30-33 degrees in the Central Highlands, according to the national forecast center.

According to the center, the average temperatures in northern and north central Vietnam between late March to early April will be 0.5-1.5 degrees higher than in previous years, while other areas will experience little change.
