A passenger bus collided with a tractor-trailer in the central Quang Nam Province at around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, killing eight people.
Witnesses said the two vehicles were moving from opposite directions and they hit each other at an intersection in Tam Hiep Commune of Nui Thanh District.
The crash caused the passenger bus to turn over.
Six passengers died on the spot. Two others were rushed to hospital but were confirmed dead later.
Police are looking into the cause of the accident.
